The Botswana Motor Sport (BMS) has postponed the fourth round of the national championship.

The event was to be held on Saturday at Kopong dubbed Kopong200 but the BMS was forced to postpone to accommodate and give a breather to the returning national motocross team. The team in the past weekend competed at the Motocross of Africa Nations (MXoAN) in Uganda.

They finished fifth from six teams participating, a record low by Botswana at the continental spectacle. The squad arrived in the country on Wednesday and had the logistical glitches with their motorbikes, the BMS said in a statement on Friday. "Our Botswana national team competitors who recently represented the country in Uganda have their bikes in transit due to unforeseen circumstances. "We cannot therefore authorise this event as a national event. The event can, however, proceed as a fun day to accommodate all entries.
