Court rejects Mojadigo's application to postpone minor rape trial

Rape convict Goitsekgosi Mojadigo’s attempt to further delay the commencement of his trial on a charge of raping a minor was quashed before the Village Magistrate Court, after Senior Magistrate Tshepo Thedi dismissed his application.

Mojadigo, pastor at Divine Anointing Church International is currently serving a 20 -year sentence for a rape charge. He was sentenced last year before Mochudi Magistrate Court.

Appearing before court today, Mojadigo made a plea to further postpone commencement citing that he is not ready to proceed due to financial constraints as a ground for his application.
