The consignment, handed over on Tuesday morning, comprised medication used in the management of high blood pressure, hypertension, cholesterol-related conditions and diabetes. Speaking during the handover ceremony, Farouk Ismail Group (Pty) Ltd Managing Director, Mr Faizel Ismail, said his decision to support the hospital was driven by his strong ties to Lobatse, where he was born and raised. "Being born and raised in Lobatse inspired me to give back to the community that shaped me," Ismail said. Recently, the company also donated medical equipment to Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone. Receiving the donation on behalf of the hospital, Anthlone matron expressed gratitude to the Farouk Ismail Group, noting that the contribution had come at a critical time.
