Following the discovery of the body of a 58-year-old woman from Robelela village who had been reported missing earlier this week, police in Selebi-Phikwe are investigating what is now a suspected murder case.

The woman, who lived at a cattle post on the outskirts of Robelela, was reported missing by her family on Wednesday after she left home intending to travel to Mmadinare Clinic for a check-up and never returned.

According to Selebi-Phikwe Police Station commander, Superintendent Moathodi Makumula, the deceased was found on Friday at around 6:30am by a passerby lying in a pool of blood along a roadside on the outskirts of the village.
