A ‘No Strings Attached’ Valentine show will be held at Kiss Africa club, formerly Lizard Lounge, in Gaborone on Saturday.

The managing director of the organising company 6Pac Promotions, Tlotlo Letsomo, said they want to remove the stereotype surrounding Valentines’ Day, as many people believe it is meant to be enjoyed by married people or those in relationships, only.  “We want to prove that Valentines is not to be enjoyed by lovers only, but also family and friends, or single people seeking to meet a special person during this day.

This day signifies love. We want to spread love across the world amongst everyone, single people included,” he said.  Letsomo said there would be performances by RnB singer and pianist Mel-D, musician Oatsdona of the hit single Lover Luver Luvie, Crowd Capella of the Thando Lwakho fame, as well as upcoming artists Mafoko from Bang Gae and JT Specialboy along with other supporting local DJ’s.
