A vibrant theatre scene in Gaborone was brought to life on Friday night, as Blah Blah Productions and Merale Arts Creations presented a double bill of drama at Maitisong.

Theatre enthusiasts were treated to two compelling plays, each with its own unique storyline and powerful performances that left the audience captivated. The first play of the evening, “Corner 2 Corner,” crafted by the talented team at Blah Blah Productions, told the gripping tale of rural life and thug life in the bustling streets of South Africa. The audience was drawn into the lives of two young lovers, portrayed flawlessly by the skilled actors on stage. With a perfect blend of humour and heartbreak, Corner 2 Corner left a lasting impression on everyone present. Following this emotional journey was “The Thing Between Us,” a thought-provoking piece by Merale Arts Creations. This play delved into the intricate dynamics of human relationships and the hidden truths we often keep from each other. The performances were powerful, leaving the audience reflecting on their own beliefs and perceptions long after the curtains closed.
