Police say they are yet to arrest suspect(s) in the gruesome murders of a 33-year-old mother and her two-year-old daughter, who were recently found with multiple stab wounds in Radisele.

A week ago, the duo was discovered by the deceased mother’s friend lying in a pool of blood following a knock without a response and reported the matter to the police upon their discovery. According to No2 district officer commanding, Senior Superintendent Paul Oketsang the police have since launched a probe and working around the clock to solve the case. “We have not made any breakthrough yet, but investigations into the matter are ongoing to locate and arrest the suspect(s)," he said. "Then, the mother’s bedridden father allegedly heard his daughter screaming for help at 4am and was left helpless as there was nothing he could do to intervene. "We are pleading with anyone who could have any information that could help us solve the case to contact Palapye police for a tip-off,” Oketsang added.
