GAMONONYANE: Michael Mogaladi started his Masitaoka coaching career with a defeat on Friday in a Botswana Premier League encounter played at the VTM Arena.

The Zebras legend was making his coaching debut against BDF XI and led his side to a 3-1 loss.He was only announced as Masitaoka new head coach on Wednesday just two days before making his coaching debut with the team. It took just three minutes for the visitors to open the scores as full back, Kabo Ngongorego was afforded some space outside the box.

He took his time from a cleared corner kick attempt and curled one beyond the goalkeeper to give BDF XI the lead. Three minutes later, it could have been 2-0 for BDF but Mbonisi Ncube's shot was deflected for a corner. From the early onslaught by the visitors, Masitaoka then took control of the game with some neat combination of passes. On the quarter hour mark, they had their first sight at goal as Patrick Kaunda headed wide Oabile Makopo's cross. BDF made it 2-0 on the 25th minute.
