The world’s richest diamond mine by value, Jwaneng Mine, has vowed to fend for the financial needs of Jwaneng Galaxy, promising to handhold the team until it ascends to the pinnacle of African football.

Galaxy has been on a steady peak to glory in Botswana football having two league titles under its belt. Jwaneng Mine general manager, Koolatotse Koolatotse, while unveiling the mine's plans said they are committed to supporting Galaxy until the team has a permanent seat amongst Africa's elite.

“Our deep sense of community will stretch further to ensure that Jwaneng Galaxy become one of the top six clubs in Africa and we will not rest until this happens,” he said.
