Moshupa celebrate Dikgafela in style

The beauty of celebrating culture is that it brings together people from all walks of life. Most of the women were clad in mateise attire, while the men also tried their best to look the part, dressed in eye-catching traditional outfits, some made from the German print and others from leather.

This was the scene at the Moshupa Kgotla as the Bakgatla tribe celebrated Dikgafela in style. Members of the tribe came out in large numbers and were a combination of both young and old people. At the start of the event, old men were spotted carrying their ditilo tsa dikgole to sit in comfort to watch proceedings.

There was traditional food galore served and traditional dance troupes and choirs provided entertainment.
