The measured and no-nonsense tone struck by Dinare FC caretaker coach, Joel Mogorosi, after Friday night’s 1–0 win over Taung Young Strikers reflected a side firmly focused on the bigger prize as the First Division South League title race gathers pace.

Dinare claimed maximum points in a tense encounter played at the GU Stadium, with the match decided by a single goal in a contest where clear chances were scarce and efficiency proved decisive. Mogorosi made it clear that performance levels were secondary to results at this stage of the campaign.

“This is First Division. It is not all about playing good football, it is about three points,” he said.
