Man sues for castration of bull

A man is seeking P39,000 in compensation because his bull was castrated unlawfully.Thapelo Mokoko says that his cattle-post neighbour, Maswabi Motswaledi castrated his bull without his knowledge and hence he must pay for it.

Giving evidence before Village Chief Magistrate Lot Moroka, Mokoko pointed out that he wanted to be compensated about P14,000 for the bull and P25,000 for damages.

He told the court that he arrived at P14,000 because of the characteristics of the bull.
