A 34-year-old man, who is on remand for five rape charges at the Serowe New State Prison, faces another charge after allegedly raping a fellow inmate recently.

Serowe Police Station commander, Superintendent Poloko Oteng, confirmed the incident and said investigations were ongoing.

He said the police received the report from the 27-year-old victim, who narrated that the suspect lured him to another section of the prison around 8pm under the pretext of "looking for something".
