Old Naledi night out ends in rape allegation

A night of drinking has landed a 32-year-old man from Old Naledi in police custody after he allegedly raped a woman.

According to No.12 District Officer Commanding, Senior Superintendent Mmoloke Sebako, the incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday.

Sebako said the victim reported that she had been drinking with the suspect and his friends before they went together to buy more alcohol and later proceeded to the suspect’s house.
