FRANCISTOWN: Tshesebe police are investigating an incident in which a middle-aged man hung himself.

Unverified reports suggest that the deceased killed himself after he stabbed his girlfriend following a misunderstanding they had. Confirming the incident, Tshesebe Police Station’s acting commander, Assistant Superintendent Motlamedi George said the deceased was discovered hanging from a tree in Jackalas No.1 on Thursday night. He said a passerby discovered the middle-aged man.

The individual was brought to Masunga Primary Hospital whereupon arrival he was declared dead.
