After previous postponements, the ruling Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) finally holds the first set of its primary elections this weekend. Lesaso is up against Tshwanelo Morotsi and Tshepho Makgalemele. This is a litmus test for Lesaso who joined the BDP from the opposition after the 2019 General Election.
