Although the show started late at 10:00 pm instead of the initial 7:00 pm, the music made up for lost time. Basha Mogoditshane choir, who are members of the Spiritual Healing Church in Mogoditshane, organised the concert.
First on stage was Basha Mogoditshane as they shared a prayer with the crowd in their white and blue attire. Each choir had three sets to perform and each set consisted of four songs. The songs, which won the hearts of the audience included Letsatsi La Gago Morena, A re Lebogeng Modimo, Dumelang Bana Ba Ntate and He Lifted Me Up, just to mention a few. The choir’s energy was amplified as the night progressed with the choir’s leading lady 19 year old Tumelo Basonoko blowing the audience’s minds away with her beautiful voice. The youthful choir made thrilled the audience so much that, judging from the screams and throwing money on stage as a show of appreciation. One of the organisers, Pako Montwedi, told Showtime that they wanted to use the concert for networking, explaining that they also wanted to use the opportunity to learn from the talented New Spiritual Choir, which he said will help them grow musically.
