Police in Serowe have launched a manhunt for a suspect who allegedly raped his ex-girlfriend and later assaulted another man, cutting both of his ears off, in separate incidents that occurred in Tshimoyapula on Sunday night.

Confirming the incidents, Serowe Police Station commander, Senior Superintendent Poloko Oteng, said the suspect remains at large, whilst investigations are ongoing.

Oteng explained that the suspect, his 41-year-old ex-girlfriend, and her female friend had been drinking at the same bar on the night of the incident.
