New broom: Kebapetse has taken over at BOBS

The Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Mmusi Kgafela has appointed Botsile Kebapetse as the managing director of the Botswana Bureau of Standards with effect from November 1, 2021.

Kebapetse was appointed deputy managing director in February since there was no substantive managing director at the time, he was subsequently appointed acting managing director.

Kebapetse joined BOBS in 1998, before being appointed manager of Compulsory Standards in 2007 and then director of Regulatory Compliance in 2009, heading the then newly established Department of Regulatory Compliance.
