BQA to introduce new purchase system

The Botswana Qualification Authority (BQA) is in the process of introducing a system of purchase order in the Human Resource Training Fund scheme.

The Human Resource Training Fund is operated under the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC).

BQA acting chief executive officer, Abel Modungwa said the system is being developed to ensure that an institution will train employees and make the payment only after the study period has elapsed. He said this would ensure that those employees who drop out along the study period would not be covered by the fund.
