BDC coughs P36m for Kromberg & Schubert expansion

Southern Africa’s largest harness company, Kromberg & Schubert has just completed its P36 million expansion of the 4,100 square metre factory at the Western Industrial Estates in Gaborone.

Western Industrial Estates is a 100% subsidiary of the Botswana Development Corporation (BDC), which financed the expansion of the plant.

The factory, which is said to be amongst the biggest in the country, now covers about 26,100m2 from the initial 22,000m2 of the factory’s built up area.
