The show organised by Queen Kolobe of the Madame Queen Modelling Agency is termed Spring Line Fashion Show 2010 and will feature the latest summer trends for both men and women.
Speaking to Showbiz, Kolobe said yesterday that the collaboration between Dioka and Kgomotso was simply a gesture of appreciating local celebrities. She said that most of the time people tend to focus on certain celebrities, forgetting others, adding that theirs is meant to show how much talent there is in Botswana. Kolobe said the show would feature people of various ages starting with three-year-olds. She said this is because the fashion show is open to everyone even parents who want to know how to keep their children well-dressed during summer. People should learn how to mix summer colours to blend in with the blooming plants and should also not be afraid to be dressed in less clothing," she said. Kolobe said the fashion show would feature a range of clothes some from boutiques and some by different local designers. She said this is in-order to promote and empower local entrepreneurs.
