My Star aspirants fail to impress judges

Three weeks in a row, the My Star contestants have failed to come to their own party regarding their task songs that is now the focus of the judges.

The remaining eight on Friday left the judges with little to say as they failed to deliver in the test of their skills as singers, performers and even as song writers. Many of the contestants failed in the task to write their own lyrics and deliver a melody for a dance song. Despite many of them writing catchy and interesting lyrics not much could be said about how they interpreted the song on stage. It was either too many lyrics or too little, making the song long or monotonous and consequently boring.

This could mean contestants missing on their dream if they continue to struggle to master the craft of task song, as the judges are now concentrating on that. This simply means that no matter how fabulous and good the contestants have been performing in the past few weeks, one is as good as their last performance hence they should up their game at each task.
