Mamelodi appointed BFL chief executive

The Botswana Football League (BFL) has confirmed the appointment of Bennett Mamelodi as substantive chief executive.

Mamelodi has been the acting CEO since April, following the departure of South African, Senzo Mbatha. A statement from BFL said Mamelodi will be in charge until the end of the 2024-2025 season. "Bennett Mamelodi has been offered (and has accepted) a new contract until the end of the 2024-2025 season. Bennett Mamelodi shall henceforth be referred to as Botswana Football League chief executive (BFL CE)," the statement said.
