The former Mmegi reporter joined the BNSC from De Beers Botswana in 2007.  Nkwe said he would always look back with joy at the contribution he made at the BNSC.

Among his achievements at BNSC, he mentions the council's annual awards, which he said have grown over the years. Nkwe sits in the zonal committee for the Supreme Council for Southern Africa (SCSA). He said being part of such a committee has exposed him to the world.  "I have also come to appreciate the role that sports play in our lives," he said.
