Matebele track Ostriches

BDF XI remain the only side to beat Orapa United this season with a 2-0 home win in the first round, but their last visit to the diamond-mining town two months ago ended in agony as the soldiers succumbed to a 1-0 defeat. Matebele have been in a rich vein of form, winning their last three matches and scoring 12 times while conceding only twice.

While Orapa have dropped four points with two draws and a win in their last three assignments, Matebele have reached the Mascom Top 8 final twice; winning it once after a 5-4 penalty shoot-out win over Township Rollers two seasons back.
