Malepa, Jenamiso set to leave ECCO

FRANCISTOWN: Malepa 'King Goals' Bolelang and fullback, Keabetswe Jenamiso are set to leave ECCO City Greens after they reportedly refused to renew their contracts with the club.

The duo - who have been a vital cog in the Francistown based side - have reportedly refused to sign new contracts after they allegedly reached a deadlock with the club during negotiations.Mmegi Sport has learnt that the two regular and experienced players have failed to agree on terms with the club in the negotiations, which have been going on for the past four months.

This publication is reliably informed that all other players have renewed their contracts and those earmarked to join the green side of Francistown are set to finalise their deals with ECCO soon.Both Malepa and Jenamiso could not be drawn into discussing their ongoing contractual negotiations saying it is confidential before referring this writer to club management.Mothibedi Lathang, the ECCO vice chairperson, confirmed that the two players are yet to renew their contracts, but would not be drawn into discussing the reasons behind their alleged refusal to sign new deals.
