SSKB: Coach of Tanian men's volleyball team Stone Mekgwe has appealed to companies and individuals to come to his team's rescue.

After his team's 10th loss in the Mascom Volleyball League, Mekgwe said they needed immediate help if they were to be competitive because from the 12 matches that they have played so far, Tanian have won only one against Victory Seekers. The Serowe based outfit suffered a 3-0 whitewashing at the hands of Kalavango on Saturday. The road continued to be bumpy for poor Tanian as they later lost their last game of first round to BDF VI.

In their match against Kalavango, Tanian failed to combine and play as a unit in a match that had nothing much to write home about. Players from both teams committed schoolboy errors in a lukewarm encounter.Against Kalavango, Tanian faced an equally weak side but just failed to step up. They lost all the sets 25-18.
