Just five minutes into the game, Patrick Kabamba had his shot parried back into play by the goalkeeper as GU looked for an early goal.

Two minutes later, Moyagoleele eventually took the lead as Thatayaone Kgamanyane tucked in from close range following a low cross from Obonwe Maome. The Reds came close in the 16th minute. Kgamanyane beat two of his markers inside the box and played to unmarked Kabamba, but the latter’s shot saved by the goalkeeper.
