GU notch another victory

Gaborone United 2 (Segaise 47, Kgaswane 49); Miscellaneous 1 (Thakadu 35).

Gaborone United  notched two straight wins in the Be Mobile Premiership as they defeated struggling Serowe side of Miscellaneous 2-1 in a game played on a soaked pitch. But the Gaborone giants owned by construction mogul, Nicholas Zachem, were given an early scare as the minnows were the first to draw blood.

Rain continued to pour  and the referee allowed play to continue as the two sides slugged it out in muddy conditions. Despite the slippery plate, both sides seemed determined to give their suffering fans something to cheer about. Supporters for the two sides came in large numbers and the bad weather did not dampen their spirits as they literally braved the storm.
