This comes in the wake of ugly incidents involving Division One and Two sides especially during the just ended season. FRAFA has not enforcing the provision of security at games taking into consideration that teams plying their trade in the lower divisions do not have the financial muscle to hire security officers.It is believed some clubs do not adhere to policy of providing security personnel at the playing fields, making it easy for unruly club supporters to invade the pitches almost at will.
Babuloki Bajiti, the FRAFA secretary general, said clubs affiliated to the divisional leagues would be forced to provide security personnel during matches. Bajiti said FRAFA is worried about unruly behaviour during games."It is high time the region introduced security at divisions One and Two games," said Bajiti. He said due to lack of discipline among the players, officials and club supporters some games in the lower division are abandoned due to disturbances. "These disturbances are caused by members and players of various clubs," said Bajiti without revealing the names of the clubs involved in instigating trouble.
