Dingake dismisses Sexwale�s FIFA bid

Veteran politician and author, Michael Dingake is of the opinion that FIFA presidential hopeful, Tokyo Sexwale should just concentrate on his businesses and abandon all ambitions to football’s highest seat.

Dingake, who was imprisoned at Robben Island with Sexwale, said he would not even advise the Botswana Football Association to vote for Sexwale. “I will be asking them to waste their vote.  It would have been nice to have an African (FIFA) president though, but I think it’s too late for him,” he said. 

“He is an ambitious fellow, but I don’t think he was really passionate about sports,” Dingake told Mmegi Sport recently.
