Koko came in for Motsholetsi Sikele in the 62nd minute and immediately changed the complexion of the game. The first half produced few scoring chances from both sides. The first real chance of the match came in the 36th minute when midfielder, Maano Ditshupo’s header hit the crossbar with Gilport Lions goalkeeper, Lesego Bosekeng well beaten. Rollers took the lead in the 42nd minute through Galagwe Moyana who capitalised on Lions’ failure to clear in the box and headed home. In the second half, Gilport tried to raise their game and nearly equalised in the 54th minute. However, Noah Maposa made a good save to deny Unobatsha Mbaiwa from close range. Rollers made changes in the middle of the second half by introducing Koko and Edwin Moalosi for Sikele and Moyana respectively.

They immediately switched the game in Rollers’ favour. In the 85th minute, Lawrence Majawa dispossessed Lions and pushed forward before releasing Koko who turned and twisted before smashing the ball past Lions’ goalkeeper.
