Chibuye inspires Tango Boys

Zambian coach Christopher Chibuye seems to be enjoying himself at TASC following an impressive performance by his charges in the on-going Mascom Premier League.

Since joining the Tango Boys late last year, the Zambian has transformed the team from relegation candidates to a side that might challenge for top honours, though Mochudi Centre Chiefs look set to run away with the title.

Under his leadership, TASC has won three games, drew two and lost one against Gaborone United. After a win against hapless Mogoditshane Fighters over the weekend, Chibuye's charges moved a step up the league log and are now fourth with 26 points from 17 games. They beat Fighters 2-1 at SSKB Stadium courtesy of Terrence Mandaza's brace. The victory came a week after the Tango Boys beat Coca-Cola Cup champions BMC by a solitary goal. Chibuye said he is happy that his tactics are working for the Francistown-side. "As a new coach in Botswana, I am happy that my team is doing well," said the former Zambia national Under-20 coach. He asserted that the boys are responding well during games and at training.
