Bright faces final hurdle

Bay United coach David Bright is within touching distance of glory as he leads his side against Black Leopards in a Premiership play-off final at Gelvandale Stadium this afternoon.


United meet Leopards in the first leg of the final today, with the second match set for Saturday in Limpopo. The winner of the two-legged tie will play in the South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) next season.

Bright's Port Elizabeth outfit dismissed Thanda Royal Zulu after a convincing 4-1 thumping on Saturday night to progress to the final. On the other hand, Leopards beat Vasco Da Gama 3-1 at the Cape Town Stadium to finish with a 4-1 aggregate.
