Botswana netball umpire fails to get game time

Botswana’s only umpire at the just-ended Netball World Youth Cup, Abednico Chetelo did not get any game time amid unconfirmed reports he had suffered an injury.

The Botswana Netball Association (BONA) said it could not comment on the issue as it fell under the International Netball Federation (INF).

Chetelo was the only umpire from Botswana, but was surprisingly absent from action as the nine-day competition ended on Sunday in Gaborone.
