The Botswana Dance Sport Association (BODANSA) says they are hosting the first ever regional dance sport festival in March.

The event will be held from March 25, and will be played on a Friday and Saturday. Already one of the regional countries, Swaziland, have taken the first-ever regional competition seriously as they have started preparations in earnest, according to that country's media reports. Swaziland's training sessions for the friendly in Gaborone takes place at Wanna Dance in Matsapha and Mhlume Dance Club from 11am - 5pm, with 33 couples selected to represent the country in Gaborone._SWADANSA's Public Relations Officer, Sammy Msibi, said preparations were going well. "At first, we used to skip a week for practices but now we attend training everyday.

There is more improvement from the dancers and that can only mean one thing, they (dancers) are committed," he noted. "From what I have observed here, the team has a good team spirit. I can only promise the Swazi nation more medals in this competition. We will definitely hoist the Swazi flag high in Botswana," declared Msibi.
