Sebego spent six years as legal advisor after being roped in by then BFA president Phillip Makgalemele in 2006.He is also a former chairperson of the Law Society of Botswana (LSB). He continued to serve a full term under David Fani whom he ousted from the top post last Saturday. The new BFA leader confirmed to Mmegi Sport yesterday that the legal counsel post is now vacant and they are working on finding a replacement."The BFA National Executive Committee (NEC) will meet to appoint a new legal advisor, hopefully in the next three weeks," Sebego said.
He said they would consider somebody who has shown commitment to sport and football in particular. "We will consider the calibre of the individual, above all they must be committed because football requires a lot of time," he said. Though he could not reveal any name they may be considering, Sebego said they have a good pool of lawyers they have been working closely with and they will consider them.
