All Kasi lead race to dress BMC

Former national team kit and merchandise sponsors, All Kasi look set to land a deal to dress Lobatse side BMC in the coming season with indications that negotiations are at an advanced stage.

The local sportswear company, All Kasi, is contending with an unnamed local sponsor while South Africa's Kappa, who were also keen to dress BMC, fell by the wayside last month. BMC wore Dlala strips last season and the two parties termed the arrangement 'just a partnership'. Midway through the season, BMC lashed out at the company, saying they were failing to fulfil promises made regarding the partnership. Among other things, they accused Dlala of not providing tracksuits as earlier agreed. The club also cried foul that name tags were falling off.

Thereafter, the 2011/12 league runners-up vowed they would not continue with Dlala in the coming season. BMC's marketing manager, Nelson Radijeng confirmed they were in negotiations with All Kasi, adding that there was another suitor. He, however, could not be drawn into disclosing the name of the company. "We are still negotiating with them (All Kasi) but another local company has also presented a proposal which we are also looking at," Radijeng told Mmegi Sport.
