Street vendors sell marijuana to primary students

FRANCISTOWN: Member of Parliament (MP) for Francistown West, Ignatius Moswaane and residents of Monarch location want street vendors, who sell marijuana to students to face stiffer penalties. He said the culprits pretend to sell fat cakes and other commodities during break and lunch time, whilst in fact they sell drugs to primary school pupils.

When addressing the residents of Monarch, Moswaane said that  many street vendors supply marijuana to both Monarch and Phatlhogo primary schools during breakfast and lunch time.

He said that according to the reports from the mentioned primary schools, some of the vendors place marijuana in fat cake as a way of covering their illegal trade.
