As the legal battle between former president Ian Khama and Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Kgotla Autlwetse escalates, the latter has cast doubt on the legitimacy of the former, in line with Bagammangwato royal lineage.

As if that is not enough, Autlwetse argues that Khama is a fugitive from justice and, therefore, has no right to bring any matter to court.

Khama has dragged Autlwetse before court demanding the installation of his chosen regent, Seretse Peter Khama.
