A 51-year-old man has been nabbed by the police on allegations of sexually assaulting his 15-year-old stepdaughter in Mokatse last Saturday.
Tlokweng Police Station commander, Superintendent Unoziba Rari, told The Monitor they received a report of the incident from the suspect's wife who is also the victim's mother. "We attended the report and interrogated the teenage girl who disclosed to have been sexually abused by her stepfather that fateful Saturday. The victim was taken to hospital for tests and we have since arrested the suspect who is currently in custody helping with investigations. The suspect will soon appear before court faced with a single count of defilement," Rari said.
