Police Close In On Sebina

FRANCISTOWN: Police are hot on the heels of the main suspect who is believed to be responsible for the recent killings and raping of old women in Sebina and surrounding villages, the Minister of Defense, Justice and Security, Dikgakgamatso Seretse has said.

Seretse said this when answering questions from members of the public, Edward Phaladze and Teezani Machaza during a meeting he addressed at Tatitown Kgotla on Thursday. The duo had asked Seretse what his ministry was doing to bring the suspect to book before he kills and rapes more people.

The minister had called the meeting to inform the public about the new Tirelo Setshaba police volunteer programme that his ministry will soon rollout throughout the country He told the gathering that he is optimistic that the days of the culprit are numbered because he is known in Sebina and neighbouring villages.
