�Pastor� struggles to deny dagga charges

JWANENG- Calvin Tefiso (27) of Sekoma, referred to as a pastor by state witnesses, fought an unholy war before Magistrate Segametsi Basinyi to defend himself against a charge of illegal possession of dagga charge.

One of the witnesses, Thuso Ngoni told court last week that they met the accused in a car they had boarded a lift from Sejelo Junction in Kanye to Chalershill.

Ngoni said at Moatle, they met a police roadblock and were asked to go out with their luggage but the accused said he did not have any. Upon searching the car, the police found a bag with dagga inside, weighing 213.1g, hidden at the back of the driver seat where Tefiso was seated.
