As the country is currently financially challenged, chairperson of Ntlo Ya Dikgosi (NYD) Kgosi Malope II has announced the cancellation of its scheduled oversight tour, citing financial constraints currently facing the country.

Malope said the house had a planned tour as part of its mandate to monitor and assess the implementation of government programmes and the welfare of communities across the country.

However, due to financial constraints, Malope said the house had to forego the planned tour.
