My client was not involved - Mack

The defence attorney representing Bushy Nthibo in the Central Medical Stores (CMS) fraud case, Unoda Mack, has dismissed claims that his client had a hand in the corruption allegations he is facing.

Mack told the court that his client, who worked at the Ministry of Health as an Accountant, was not the only one responsible for payment documents at the accounts office. During his cross examination of first state witness, Baile Moumakwa, Mack said there were about ten other people who were working with Nthibo at the time the alleged offence was committed.
