Murder Co-Accused On The Run

Murder accused Oakantse Modisagape, co-accused in the notorious Block 3 murder of an 11-year-old boy is still on the run, seven months after he was last reported seen.

Modisagape, along with his lover Shatani Bulayani, is accused of murdering 11-year-old Nathaniel Bulayani, who was the second accused's son.The couple's murder trial was expected to resume before Judge Michael Leburu at the Lobatse High Court last week, but was postponed to November while the search for the accused continues.The case is scheduled to resume on the 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th of November 2013.

Modisagape, also known by the nickname 'The Rock', was granted bail on June 28th 2012, on condition that he reports to the Molepolole Police Station Commander twice a week and that he remains within the boundaries of Molepolole.  He was also ordered to attend court as and when required.He was last seen in Molepolole in October 2012, The Monitor has learnt.  His co-accused Bulayani is still in police custody.
