Mpule's acting career takes off

Former Miss Universe Mpule Kwelagobe's dream of joining the movie industry seems to be coming true as more acting offers come her way.

Recently it was reported that Kwelagobe would play the lead role in Ya' Ma Afrika, a TV series that is set to be aired on the popular international cable 3A Telesud in Europe, USA, West Indies and West Africa. Ya Ma Afrika is a fictional drama portraying the lives of four African Women living in New York. It highlights the cultural experiences, contradictions and challenges of African women living in the West.

However, it is apparent that she will not play Kiki in a movie called "When the Cobra Strikes", due to personal circumstances.
