JWANENG: Motherly love was tested this week at the Magistrate Court in Jwaneng when 53-year-old Kehumile Ramaiyane found herself under pressure and implicated her son in a violent robbery that left one man injured.

Ramaiyane’s son, Arnold Rapholo, and his co-accused, Boikobo Tumisang and Mothusi Ghannie are accused of assaulting Jack Moilwa with fists, kicks and an axe before stealing a generator and water pipes at Lefhoko lands on February 19, 2015.

Testifying in the case, prosecutor Sub-Inspector Edwin Supang had a tough time directing Ramaiyane to relate events that led to her son being in possession of the stolen generator and other items.
