As the Botswana National Front (BNF) readies for its much to be contested elective congress over the weekend, two key South African political figures will attend the congress.

BNF Chairperson, Dr. Patrick Molutsi, has confirmed that former South African President Thabo Mbeki, along with several members of the ANC Executive Committee, will attend the upcoming congress. In addition, Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader, Julius Malema, and other fraternal party representatives are also expected to join the festivities.

President Duma Boko will officiate at the congress in Palapye, which will see heavyweight lobbies against each other: one led by veteran party spokesperson, Moeti Mohwasa, and the other by Nelson Ramaotwana.
